Our approach to Safeguarding

Safeguarding is defined as protecting an adult or child’s right to live in safety and free from abuse or neglect. Safeguarding involves different organisations working together to stop abuse and neglect and intervening in situations when required.

Hector’s House is fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and adults at risk. We believe that everyone has the right to live free from abuse, neglect and exploitation, and to be treated with dignity, respect, and compassion.
