“As a Clinical Psychologist/Nutritionist duo, we couldn’t be more excited to support the Eat Move Love movement! The connection between the body and mind is crucial to mental health – how we care for our physical body can have a direct effect on our brain chemistry. So many factors make up the big picture of how we feel but taking care of ourselves is an amazing starting point to better mental health. Where to start? We think colourful and varied food (plenty of veggies!), daily fresh air and movement, good sleep and finding ways to manage stress are some awesome changes we’ve learnt can have a big impact (for us as well as those we work with!). Don’t try it all at once though! Making small changes in the right direction will add up to much bigger change that sticks in the long run.”
