About Hector's House

Our son and brother Hector Stringer took his own life at the age of 18. Hector’s House was set up in his memory, with the aim to prevent suicide and mental health stigma through education, awareness and support.

Get Involved with Hector's House

Do you identify as male, are aged 18+ and live in Bucks and Herts?

We’d love to invite you to our Hector’s Gentle-Man’s Club!

HGMC is a safe space for men in the area to come together once a month to try new activities, meet new people and have a safe space to be themselves. Take a look at our next meet-up below.

HecTalk is a group open to all men to come together and talk. A place free of judgement, and free of any pressure to “fix”. Simply turn up, listen up, and if you want to, open up.

Would you like to invite Hector’s House to speak to your school, club or place of work about mental health and suicide prevention? From Eat Move Love workshops to safeTALK CPD-accredited suicide alertness training – the team would be happy to help.

Help us to continue this life-saving work
