June has been an incredible month for us here at Hector’s House – it’s been packed with meaningful moments, inspiring events, and the kind of community spirit that reminds us exactly why we do what we do.

Huel Tring Rugby Club Open Day🏉

We were thrilled to be part of the Huel Tring Rugby Club’s Open Day, where we had a chance to connect with the community, raise awareness, and cheer on the amazing players during their end of season awards and tournament. And… can we take a moment for that stunning new kit featuring the Hector’s House logo?😍

U3A Talk🎓

Our team had the privilege of speaking at a U3A (University of the Third Age) event, where we talked about mental health, the importance of community, Eat, Move, Love for wellbeing and more. The conversation was warm and engaging, and we left feeling inspired by the openness and curiosity in the room💚

Music Under the Stars event🎶

What a magical evening in Buckland! ✨ The Music Under the Stars event brought us all together for a night of incredible live performances. It was a joy to be part of this event – dancing, connecting, and raising vital funds for Mental Health support.

Church Group Talks⛪

We also had the opportunity to connect with two wonderful church communities – one in Aylesbury and another in Hemel – to share our story and offer support for better mental wellbeing. These talks were filled with compassion and care, and we’re so grateful for the warm welcomes and thoughtful conversations.

National Lottery Community Fund – Grant for Listening Ear🎉

We’re proud to share that we’ve received support from the National Lottery Community Fund to help us fund and grow our Listening Ear service 💚 This funding will go directly into ensuring more people have access to safe, compassionate, and trained listeners when they need someone most. THANK YOU to the National Lottery and everyone who plays – you’re making a real difference.

HGMC Cacao Ceremony☕

June’s Hector’s Gentle-Mans Club held a cacao ceremony – creating space for connection, reflection, and emotional growth. We’re cheering on the men showing up for themselves and each other💪

Marsworth Steam Rally🚜

What a blast at the Marsworth Steam Rally! From running a tombola to raising awareness about our mission, the community spirit was high and the support was generous. Huge thanks to everyone who stopped by our stand – your kindness helps us continue doing this vital work.

QCS – Over £10,000 Raised!🎉

And finally – a HUGE thank you to QCS for their phenomenal fundraising! Together, they raised an incredible £10,267 for Hector’s House, and we were so proud to present them with a certificate to celebrate their incredible contribution💥 This level of support helps us reach more people, provide more resources and support.
